Android can now "boost" quiet voices and filter out background noise.

Check the Volume Buttons
Press the physical buttons on the side of your phone. Make sure the bar moves up!

Use "Live Caption"
Press your volume button and tap the Small Square Icon. Your phone will now write out what people are saying in real-time.

Check "Do Not Disturb"
Swipe down from the top. Ensure the Circle with a Dash icon is turned OFF so you can hear ringtones.
